Page 93 of Claiming Her Alpha
“Good just like that, little moon.”
He leaned forward on one elbow, using his other hand to slowly and carefully push into her entrance. She moaned quietly into the pillow, pushing her ass a little closer. Pausing to let her adjust, he kissed across her shoulders.
“You feel like heaven.”
She soaked in his praises, rumbling beneath him.
He slowly pushed in deeper, her tight walls clenching around his shaft. He continued to kiss her neck and shoulders, loving how each kiss seemed to entrance her even more. He kept his thrusts slow and steady, wanting to keep things as relaxed for her as possible after the whirlwind of the last few days.
“I fucking love you, Kendra,” he whispered even though he knew she was already too far gone to process his words.
Once she started to wiggle beneath him, he pulled out and let her readjust her position. He sat next to her and leaned against the headboard, massaging her scalp. He ripped the condom off with his other hand, stroking himself hard and fast. He was so close it hurt, and he desperately needed a release himself.
He closed his eyes, fingers combing through her hair as he re-lived the evening. The way he kneeled before her, but then the way she looked at him after he’d handled her brother. He soaked up her compliments, racing towards the edge with each memory. He swallowed hard, tasting her a second time as he spilled his release over his fingers and into his lap.
He tried to keep his mind quiet, not wanting to wake her as he rode out his climax
Once he’d cleaned up with tissues from the nightstand, he draped the blanket over the both of them. With a warm fuzzy feeling, he fell asleep with his one and only in his arms.
A dip of the bed and the empty feeling in his arms woke him the next morning. His eyes fluttered open to see Kendra disappearing into the restroom. With a deep breath, he rolled onto his back and stretched.
A moment later, Kendra came back and kneeled on the mattress next to him. “Why don’t we have breakfast and then head out to the village? I want to check in with all the guests before they leave.”
“Sounds good to me.”
They got up and dressed before heading to the kitchen. Just as they were putting away their dirty dishes, someone knocked on the door. Curiously, Ryker watched as Kendra opened it, his heart racing as he saw Gabriel standing there.
“You wished to see us before we left.”
“Come in, Beta Gabriel.” She stepped aside and let Gabriel in, Andrew trailing close behind. “Make yourself at home. I’m sure you and Ryker would like a minute alone. I’ll be right back.”
Kendra dashed into the office while Gabriel and Andrew met Ryker in the kitchen.
“Adrianna would like me to tell you that she is proud of you and Adam would like you to know that he will miss you.”
“Give him a hug from me.”
Gabriel nodded, a sad smile forming. “He’s still upset, but maybe with time you’ll be able to visit.”
“Well, you all are always welcome here.”
Andrew leaned against the counter and looked around the space. “What an upgrade from your boring old room, huh?”
“Quite enjoyable,” Ryker chuckled.
“I bet. You look like you didn’t get much sleep and I heard a rumour that you kicked some ass last night.”
“Being alpha comes with some perks.”
Andrew laughed and crossed his arms over his chest. “Jackass.”
Kendra reappeared and walked into the kitchen. “Okay. I hope this doesn’t look too bad. I forgot to wrap it yesterday and Mom definitely does it better than I do.”
She handed Gabriel a small gift bag with pink and blue tissue paper poking out of it. Gabriel took it, and though he seemed curious he didn’t ask what was inside.
“Thank you, Luna Kendra.”
“Oh, I just hope she likes it. I’m not really good at the whole gift buying thing.”
