Page 61 of Loving Jamie

We spend hours hanging out just enjoying the company, and it’s not until nearly three in the morning when Jude is passed out in Nate's lap that we decide to call it a night. William walks his brother and Jude to the door as Justin helps me get ready for bed.

A few minutes later William joins us in bed, we’re all naked but there’s nothing sexual about it. It doesn’t take long for my eyes to close, and for the first time in a while I don’t feel this lingering fear in my gut. Damien gets out of prison in the morning and while I’m not happy about it, I know he can’t hurt me. Not when I’m surrounded by my Daddies.

I’m in that half-awake half-asleep mode, you know those few moments before you become fully conscious. I can feel the room around me, I know that the sun will be shining through the gap in the curtains and I know that I’ll be able to hear the radiators buzzing as the heat turns on.

I allow myself to enjoy the hazy feeling for a little while longer before I blink my eyes open.

As I look out the window expecting to see the sun shining, I’m met with heavy rain smashing against the glass, but that’s ok.

I roll over and look at my guys, they have their arms wrapped around each other and the fluttery feeling in my chest makes me smile.

Seeing as I’m the only one awake I quietly climb out of bed and grab a pair of joggers from the floor, sliding them up my legs before I leave the room. The bedroom door clicks behind me.

I walk through the living room and smile at the mess left behind from last night, I’ll clean it up later.

I grab my phone from the table and find that the battery is dead, knowing I have a charger in the kitchen I head over and plug it in. I turn the coffee machine on and place my cup underneath. I’m going to let the guys sleep a bit longer so I only make the one coffee.

While my coffee is brewing, I head over to the patio doors and pull them open, the smell of the rain hitting me straight away. I hold my hand out the door, allowing a few droplets to land on my fingers.

When the coffee machine stops buzzing, I walk back towards the kitchen, leaving the doors open to air out the room.

I sit at the kitchen table with my coffee, I grab my phone now that is charged enough to turn back on. I check the time to see its only past nine. That means Damian is now probably free. He is now walking the streets of Manchester.

I see a text from my sister.

Sarah

Morning baby brother, I hope my message doesn’t wake you up. But today’s the day. By the time you see this message, he has most likely been released. I hope your men are with you today. Please call me at some point, I love you xx

I send her a quick text message letting her know that I’m ok and that my men are here with me, I promise to give her a call later on.

I lock my phone and lay it flat against the table. I sit in silence as I drink the rest of my coffee. Praying with all my heart that things will be ok.

Chapter 35 –

William

I wake up with a hot sweaty body plastered to my back, I lift my head and see that it’s Justin who is glued to me. I look past his sleeping body expecting to find Jamie behind him, but the space is empty.

I sit up and nudge Justin. His eyes shoot open and he sits up. He looks behind him, probably looking for Jamie as well.

“Where is he?” He asks me.

I shrug my shoulders and start to climb out of bed. I find some clothes on the floor and toss some to Justin before I get dressed. As soon as we are both clothed, we leave the bedroom to search for Jamie.

Unsure of what state we’re going to find him in, my gut clenches with fear. I hold Justin’s hand as we walk through the hallway, we don’t find Jamie in the living room or in the kitchen and I’m starting to panic. Finally, Justin points towards the patio doors and that’s where we find Jamie, sitting on the balcony. Heavy rain beating down on his half naked body.

“What the hell is he doing? It’s freezing out there.” I say.

Justin grabs a blanket from the couch as I head over to the open doors. “Jamie, what are you doing out here?”

The air is freezing as the wind blows the rain into my face. Jamie turns around and smiles at me, I look at his face and even though it's red I don’t think he’s been crying.

I hold my hand out to him. “Come on, angel. Let’s get you inside.”

He nods his head and takes my outstretched hand; I pull him up to his feet and help him walk inside. His movements are slow, probably from sitting out in the rain for so long.

When we get inside, I close the doors behind us and start pulling down his drenched joggers. Justin steps next to him and starts to dry him with a blanket. When he’s dry Justin throws the blanket to the floor and grabs another one from the back of the couch.
