“I don't think that’s such a bad idea. The rule was only so prospects wouldn't get ahead of themselves and try to claim land that wasn't theirs. If the patched-in members want to start building, I don't have a problem with it. Do any of you see a problem?” he asks the rest of the club officers. We all shake our heads, all agreeing we should be able to build here when we are ready to put down roots.

“So,” Comp drawls, looking back at the room our women are in. “How long are we going to give them before we barge in and break up whatever scheming they are coming up with?”

“Well, the kids are already down for the night. They wanted to build a fort treehouse in the playroom and stay there. The women helped them build it after Becky left. They should be out cold now. I’m ready to get my woman under me right this fucking minute,” Swift comments.

“I’ve had plans for my pet all day. I’m pretty sure she’s torturing me on purpose to make it all the sweeter,” Loki says, smiling devilishly down at his phone.

“Fuck, I don't even want to know what Halle is texting you right now,” Hitter grumbles.

“It's nothing too bad. Just that she wants to pin me to her murder wall, use my blades to mark me, then fuck me into oblivion.” Loki shrugs.

“Fuck, dude. I said Ididn'twant to know,” Hitter groans. “That is not an image I want to think about.”

I chuckle because that is vanilla shit is nothing compared to what we’ve walked in on.

“Comp, have you heard from your cousin Bash?” Swift asks.

“Yeah, after handing over the info and evidence I could find, they were able to get him released. He headed back to his MC, but he’s taking off on a ride all over the country. Doesn't know where he’s going or for how long, but he promised to stop by and see us,” Comp says with a small smile.

I know he’s excited to see his cousin. They were so close growing up and after everything that happened to Comp, it changed their lives forever. They probably would have grown up to have the standard wife, house with a picket fence, two and a half kids, and that normal boring ass life. Instead, they both joined a motorcycle club. While I’ve heard Bash’s club might not be into the hard shit, I know they aren't necessarily on the right side of the law. Basically, like our club, but I don't know if their clubs' standards or moral compasses point in the same direction. I’ve come to the conclusion I’m ready to go a bit more straight. I hate leaving my women when I have to go on runs for the club. I hate knowing she could be in danger when I’m not here.

Then I really start to think about it, though, and I wouldn't have my club or brothers any other way. We may not do everything by the book, but we aren't bad people. We take up for those who can’t take up for themselves. We save people and try to protect each other as best as possible. We are a family, andno matter what any law book says, we don't just kill to kill. We always have a damn good reason.

“I’m glad you could finally get him out, and we can't wait to see him again. It's been what, almost six years since he’s visited?” Swift asks.

“Yup, six long fucking years. I can't wait to see him either. I might take Sunny and Paisley to visit with my parents when he gets out this way. If he stops by our hometown on his way to freedom,” Comp chuckles.

“Your parents will love that. I know they are missing the girls,” Hitter says. We all look at Loki, who is glowering down at his phone. As I’m about to ask why he looks like he is about to go off the deep end, my phone buzzes in my pocket. I pull it out but I notice all the men’s phones are chiming, and we pull them out one by one to see who it is.

Clover: I’m not wearing any panties

“What the fuck?” Hitter says as we all stand as one. I look up and make eye contact with my brothers. This is too suspicious. We all received a text at the same time. One that makes us all look like we are about to lose our minds. Yeah, the women are definitely up to something.

“Did you all get a dirty text from your women?” I ask the table.

“Fuck yeah.”

“Sure fucking did.”

“She better not be touching my pussy.” That one is coming from Loki. We all look around at each other.

“I think they are trying to drive us crazy. How do you guys want to play this?” I ask, raising a brow.

“There has to be a competition or some kind of motive going on here. I say we wait it out. See what their next step is,” Comp, always the level-headed one, says.

We all think about it for a minute before agreeing. Well, all except Loki. He grumbles until we force him back into his chair.

“Place your phones in the middle of the table. Let’s see what happens,” I say. It doesn't take five minutes for each of our phones to light up one by one. I pick mine up and read it.

Clover: I’m all wet and needy for you. Do you not want this pussy anymore?

“Fuck it,” I say, along with all the other men. I try to rush around the table before the other brothers can get in front of me. I need my woman now, and I might kill whoever gets in my way.

We are battling each other as we make our way down the hall to my room. Swift is on Hitter's back. He’s got him in a choke hold, but it's not slowing him down. Loki is trying to dead leg Comp, who has a lead on us all, and I stick my foot out, causing Loki to stumble. He growls before tackling me around the waist. We are right in front of my bedroom door, but none of us can reach the handle because we are in some weird, fighting dog pile.

“My phone went off first fuckers. That means that I should get to go in first,” Comp complains.

“It's my fucking room. I should be able to go in first,” I yell, feeling my face get shoved to the floor.
