I wasn’t going to last if she kept talking sex with me, but like a good friend, I nodded.

I was so fucked.

CHAPTER THIRTEEN

RAVEN

It was late by the time we got home. Reid went to bed, Logan went for a shower, and Zavier heated some food for us. I grabbed him a beer and a can of coke for myself, placing them on the counter to watch him.

His back muscles flexed under his shirt as he put the casserole in the oven, and he turned, catching me staring again. “You really need to stop looking at me like that, or you’re getting bent over.” I had no idea what he saw in my eyes, but he stepped closer until my back hit the wall, looking down at me as he spoke again. “I don’t owe your boyfriend a single piece of respect or loyalty. I don’t care if he gets hurt. Now, stop looking at me like that.”

I swallowed, forcing myself to put a hand on his chest and pushed him back a step. “Zav, don’t.”

He studied me for a second before stepping back to grab his beer, not taking his eyes off me as he popped the top and took a swig. I watched him swallow, my tongue darting out to lick my lips.

He smirked but didn’t say anything as he walked past me to put the TV on in the living room, and I had to stop myself from following.

No wonder the guys couldn’t keep their dicks in their pants, I was no better, and I’d barely scratched the surface of the pleasures of sex.

I jumped as hands landed on my waist from behind, a shiver skating down my spine as Zavier spoke in my ear. “What’s on your mind, Rae?”

I tried to step away, but he slid an arm around my stomach to keep me in place. “Zav?—”

My protest died in my throat as his lips skimmed my neck, and I felt my panties dampen as he gently bit me.

“Tell me you don’t want my hands on you and I’ll stop,” he whispered, turning me when I stayed silent, both his hands sliding into my hair to keep my eyes on him. “I never should’ve listened to the guys when they warned me away from you. Do you know how hard it’s been to keep my hands to myself when I can see in your eyes that you don’t want me to?”

“Why are you doing this now? After all these years, and now that I’m not available anymore, you make your move?” I forced out, trying to pull away to put some distance between us, and thankfully, he let me this time.

He blew out a breath, his voice full of apology. “I know, it’s a dick move, but?—”

“No. That’s exactly what it is. You’ve had forever to make a move and chose not to. That’s on you.”

“You really like this guy that much?” he asked quietly, and I nodded, lowering my gaze.

“Yeah, Zav. I do. He wants to be with me for real, and I want that too.”

A sound of frustration left him, and I jerked my eyes up as he closed the distance between us, a squeak leaving me as he backed me against the wall again, grabbed my face in both hands, and dropped his mouth to mine.

It was hard and angry, my hands desperately trying to push him away, but I stopped fighting after a moment as his kiss softened slightly. His tongue teased my lower lip and I opened for him, my fingers gripping the front of his shirt to pull him closer.

His cock was hard, and I rubbed against it like a fucking cat in heat as one of his arms slid around my lower back, his other hand running through my hair.

I’d wanted this forever, so why had he waited so long?

“It’s getting hot in here,” Logan drawled from close by, and Zavier almost landed on his ass with how hard I shoved him back.

“It’s not what it looks like,” I blurted out, amusement flashing across Logan’s face.

“No? If Zavier didn’t have you pinned to the wall with his tongue down your throat, what was I watching then?”

“I’m sorry,” I choked out, the humor falling from his face when he realized how upset I was getting. “What the fuck is wrong with me?”

“In your defense, he didn’t exactly give you much of a choice,” he answered dryly, moving towards me to snag my wrist to tug me closer. “It’s okay, we talked about this.”

“It’s not,” I insisted, hating how he was condoning my behavior. There was no excuse for me climbing all over Reid or Zavier after asking Logan to only be with me. “I’m going for a shower and then I’m going to bed.”

“No, you’re not. You’re going to sit at the counter and eat dinner first,” Zavier said firmly, but his eyes weren’t on me, they were on Logan. Hurt flickered in them, and I knew that he’d figured it out before he even said anything. “You’re the guy she’s seeing?”
