Oh, my God, it was Will Rox, the lead singer of the Crash Riders. I couldn’t believe I was meeting him in my sweatpants.

Will was over six feet tall, his long brown hair with blonde highlights was tied back in a man bun, and he sported so many rings and chains around his neck that I lost count. He even had a cross-earring in one of his ears. God, he was very handsome—no wonder all the girls fell for him. He was pretty much a rock god. But my Jay was more gorgeous—no man could hold a candle to him in my eyes.

“Hey, so you are the infamous girlfriend the boys keep telling me about. It makes sense that J.J. is smitten with you. You are fucking gorgeous,” Will said, a sly grin dancing on his face.

I felt Jay stiffen beside me for that comment. He gave a look to Will, that pretty much said she was mine, back off.

“Hmm. Hi, yeah. I am Jay’s girlfriend, Evy. Nice to meet you.” I waved shyly.

Will just full-on grinned and held his arms out for a hug. “This is how we say hello back home.” The words rolled out of his tongue, giving away his strong Southern accent, which probably made the ladies drop off their skirts.

I rolled my eyes. This guy was unbelievable. Too bad his charms would never work on me.

“My boyfriend doesn’t like me touching another man,” I said with an overly sweet smile on my face.

Will threw his head back and laughed. “Your girlfriend is funny, J.J.” A warm smile crept up his face. Hmm, I wondered if maybe he was like Mikey, hiding all that goodness with an arrogant personality.

Jay just shook his head and nodded toward a tall blonde woman with a pixie cut wearing tight leather jeans and a ripped T-shirt. I immediately recognized her as Tay, the bass player of the Crash Riders.

“This is Tay, and”—he pointed to the last member of the Crash Riders—“that is Dec. Guys, this is my girlfriend, Evy.”

“Hey guys!” I smiled at them.

“Yo.” Dec did a chin lift. I knew he was the band’s drummer. His red mohawk was pretty famous.

Tay waved a hand. “Hiya, Evy.” She smiled, licking her lip ring.

All three members of the Crash Riders had so many piercings on them that I wondered if they had any space left that they hadn’t pierced.

I yawned into my hands yet again.

I watched as Will poured himself a good shot of some golden brown liquid from a crystal decanter and downed it in a second. His head snapped in my direction like he knew I was gazing at him. I flushed with the embarrassment of getting caught and averted my gaze.

“Are you ready to head to bed?” Jay smiled at me.

“Yes, Jay.” I leaned into his side because I was so tired that my brain was slowly starting to lag.

We waved goodnight to everyone while Mikey complained that we were like an old married couple going to bed early, but we didn’t care. Jay and I didn’t really like gatherings or parties that much—he only attended because it was necessary for the band’s image. We mostly kept to ourselves, cherishing the time we had together. Of course, we liked to hang out with the whole gang, but we mostly escaped early because we couldn’t resist each other.

I yawned as we walked through the maze of corridors. I noticed Jay looking at me weirdly.

“What?” I mumbled. “Is there something on my face?”

“You look beautiful,” Jay muttered.

I blushed. I was pretty sure I looked like a mess.

We headed to the east wing, which was allocated for The Four Foxes, while the Crash Riders took the other wing. The east wing alone was so big that I lost count of how many bedrooms there were. Our room was on the second floor— it was three sizes bigger than my last bedroom.

An enormous four-poster bed with rich walnut wooden poles sat in the middle. A gigantic TV with a fake fireplace faced the bed. The right side opened up to a huge patio that overlooked the swimming pool. The crisp, pristine white walls and the white polished marble flooring made the place look too clinical.

“Go and change into your PJs. My girl looks too tired.” Jay cradled my face and planted a kiss on my lips.

I smiled as I made my way to the walk-in closet/bathroom, which was almost as big as the room. It was too spacious, with a freestanding bathtub and a massive shower equipped with a full shower panel and even a music system. The main bathroom counter stood in the center of the room, with wardrobe shelves behind it. The whole setup was so weird. I guessed they were going for a modern aesthetic, but it was ugly. I guess money could sometimes buy you a lot of things, except taste.

I donned my pink bunny PJs in no time, and I sighed happily when I felt the familiar material touch my skin. I only brought one huge suitcase full of clothes and my pretty notebooks with me. And obviously, my necessities, but other than that, I had packed everything off to Liam’s.

“I am back.” I grinned at my beautiful boy, who was looking at the stars outside wearing just his black sweatpants. God, he was a vision.
