Jay beamed as he turned back and walked toward me in three quick strides. He lifted me into his arms and plopped me onto the bed.

I giggled. “Jay.”

“How tired are you?” He had a Cheshire cat smile on his face as he peppered wet kisses all over my face that tickled the hell out of me.

I giggled louder. “Never tired for you,” I stammered through my giggles.

Soon our clothes were off, and I wondered why I even put them on. Jay kissed me with so much passion that my heart almost dropped out of my chest.

“Do you know how much I love you, sweetheart? I want you to be near me all the fucking time, forever.” His beautiful blues shone with so much love as he muttered those words to me.

“I love you, always and forever. I don’t know anything else but to love you,” I admitted, my voice barely a whisper.

Our lips collided again in the most intense kiss that sent shockwaves throughout my body, electrifying parts of me that I didn’t know could be electrified. I loved it. I loved him more than anything.

The soothing feeling of strong fingers running through my hair woke me up from the most peaceful slumber.

I smiled as I woke up—my gaze immediately locked on the brightest blue eyes that I loved so much.

“Good morning, sweetheart. Good sleep?” Jay smiled as he tucked a loose strand of hair behind my ear.

“The best!” I grinned at him. I slid closer to him and cuddled up to his delicious warmth.

He kissed my forehead while I listened to his heartbeat.

“When do you guys start recording the album?” I murmured against his chest.

He sighed. “Brown-eyed Girl is the only unofficial single we have put out. We are planning to rebrand it, make some tweaks, and release it as our first official single. Since it is already a big hit, it makes sense. All the other songs are written, so that’s a good thing, but we still have to record. Cece told me we wouldbe starting next month, but I am not sure. The label could do anything they want. We are merely employees at this point unless we actually make a name for ourselves.”

“But you guys are pretty famous already. And who is Cece?” I frowned.

“You will meet her. She is the producer’s daughter. She will be our creative production manager. And yeah, maybe we are famous in the local scene, but being with a label gives you a wider reach, hence a wider audience. Only a label has the connections and the money for that.”

“But why wait until you release your album?” I asked curiously because I hardly understood how the music industry worked.

“Each deal is different. Ours is kinda like leverage. They will invest more if our first album takes off. If they invest all the money now, it would be a pretty big loss if the album flops.” He shrugged.

“Your album is going to break all records, Jay. And then they will be begging you to be with them.” I grinned at him.

“If you say so, sweetheart.” His gaze softened as he kissed my forehead.

“Will you give me the first signed CD?” I asked excitedly.

“Yes, sweetheart,” Jay promised, smiling.

We got dressed and headed to the kitchen to grab some coffee before Jay headed off for practice. I sighed. I was going to miss him during practice, but at least I had Katy.

“Here.” Jay handed me a pink mug that had an ‘E’ on it.

My eyes widened. “Mine?”

“Yes, for my girl, who loves pink.” Jay kissed my cheek.

“Oh, the lovely couple being all sweet early in the morning,” a smooth voice called out.

I turned to see Will grinning from his seat at the breakfast table. He was shirtless, showing off all his intricate tattoos, and dayum, he even had his nipples pierced. His hair was all tousled, and lipstick marks were all over his neck and the zipper of his light blue jeans. It looked like someone had a wild night.
