“Wow. Um. Quite the welcome.” Sean gave a wobbly laugh, his hand coming to my shoulder. He flexed his fingers like he was deciding between pushing me away or pulling me closer. I made it an easy choice, sliding back up his shaft, sucking hard the whole upstroke, then slowly sinking back down, millimeter by millimeter, with all the tongue action I could muster.

I might not be great at talking things out, but sucking cock hadn’t failed me yet. Each of Sean’s moans was more gratifying than the last. I loved reducing him to needy sounds and clutching hands. Closer. He was definitely dragging me closer. My pulse pounded like a drum circle at Burning Man.

“I’m not going to last.” Speaking of burning, my firefighter had a short fuse, as always, and I gave his thigh a fond pat as I pulled back enough to speak.

“Surprise, surprise.”

“I’m serious.” Chuckling self-consciously, Sean shoved at my shoulder. I gave his cockhead a leisurely lick, loving how his shove turned to a caress. I sucked him into my mouth again, and he gave a pained groan. “We could fuck.”

“We could.” I tried to sound indifferent. He’d only mentioned fucking a time or twenty. We had a steady oral and frot diet going, but Sean was plenty eager for more ass play. I’d made him come from fingering several times, but I’d been ridiculously reluctant to fuck. Stupid, really, but I figured if I held off on the top thing on Sean’s sex bucket list, he’d keep me around longer. He wasn’t the only one with wishes. “Or I could keep going, see if going for a second round is a possibility…”

“With you? Anything is possible.” Sean offered a dopey, sex-drunk smile. I could only wish that were the case. Not liking that line of thinking, I redoubled my efforts on Sean’s cock, sucking in a hard, fast rhythm and using my tongue all along the underside of the shaft.

“Damn.” Sean gave a lusty moan. “I wanna learn all your tricks.”

“Hush. Your mouth is plenty amazing. And right now, all I want to hear out of it is please, Denver. Yes, Denver. More, Denver.”

“Yes, Denver.” His chuckle turned straight to another moan as I went deep, breaking out a little tongue action for the top of his balls too. “Oh fuck, please.”

His cock pulsed against my tongue, not coming, but pretty darn close.

“Love your hair trigger,” I murmured before getting back to sucking. I shouldn’t have used the L-word there, not that Sean seemed to have noticed, but I needed to guard against how affectionate he made me. And I needed him to come, needed the distraction and power rush of him flying apart. Dropping my right hand, I gently cradled his balls.

As I’d hoped, he moaned. “Seriously. Not gonna…wait…” He slumped lower in the chair, spreading his legs wide. I wasn’t one to ignore such an invitation, so I skated my fingers even lower to flick his rim while I sucked him hard and fast. “Oh God, yes, that. More, Denver.”

I gave him everything I had, sucking him deep, milking the shaft with my tongue, tracing circles around his rim, drinking in his every delicious response. For all my reluctance to fuck, I’d never had such a responsive partner before, and I couldn’t wait to watch him go nuts on my cock.

“Denver. I’m coming,” Sean moaned like I didn’t already know that. His whole body shuddered, balls lifting against my hand. I tried not to chuckle as his salty taste filled my mouth and I swallowed him down. I softened my mouth but kept right on sucking until he pushed at my shoulder. “Too much.”

“Or just enough.” Winking at him, I stood. He was a rumpled mess, hair every which way, polo shirt rucked up around his chest, pants at his ankles, dick damp and waving in the breeze. Adorable. I gave into the temptation to ruffle his hair, and he gave a tired chuckle.

“Okay, what the hell was that? I mean, good hell, but damn.”

“You never heard of a quickie?” I’d meant to tease him with the hair ruffling, but my hand had a mind of its own, smoothing out his hair, stroking the silky red strands.

“Yeah, but you didn’t…” His gaze dropped meaningfully to my groin.

“Don’t always have to.” I rolled my shoulders, trying to ignore my insistent cock’s disagreement. Shrugging free of my touch, Sean stood. Rather than getting dressed as I’d expected, he pulled off the rest of his clothes before grabbing my hand. “What are you doing?”

“Returning the favor.” Pulling me over near my bed, he shoved my shorts down. “In a civilized fashion.”

With that, he pushed me onto the bed before stretching out next to me.

“Not sure I’m in the mood.” It was as close as I was going to get to admitting how messed up my brain was where he was concerned. But Sean being Sean, he didn’t leap off the bed and hurry home. Instead, he propped himself up on one elbow to peer deeply into my eyes.

“But you were in the mood to suck the chrome off my trailer hitch?” He laughed, then sobered, still holding my gaze. “What gives? Are you mad I ignored you at the diner?”

“Of course not.” I sounded like a petty fifteen-year-old. How could I be jealous of Sean eating with his father? From all I’d heard, they had a great relationship. It wasn’t surprising that he’d chosen to join his father. Nor was it a shocker that he’d spent ninety-nine percent of the time avoiding looking my way. And he’d sounded tense in the bit of conversation I’d overheard. “I’m no expert in family relationships, but I get it. You don’t want your father knowing where you stick your?—”

Sean cut me off with a frustrated noise. “Eric knows.”

“What?” I rolled to my side. I stretched my neck, reconsidering my assumption that Sean truly was simply exploring and wouldn’t want word of us being anything other than neighborly acquaintances getting around.

“I mean, he suspects.” Sean’s pale face was redder than a cherry tomato, and he seemed equally likely to burst. Words aside, he wasn’t doing great at convincing me he wasn’t like all the other “straight” dudes out there. “And Eric’s not wrong. You and I do have something going. We didn’t have the whole coming-out conversation, but I didn’t correct Eric either.”

“Are you wanting a medal?”

“Look, I know you were hurt before by someone who wouldn’t come out. That’s not me.”
