We spend hours in the basement, the space filled with the sounds of our gentle interactions. I guide her through the sensations of being a wolf, helping her understand her new abilities and instincts. She’s a quick learner, her natural strength and determination shining through even in this new form.
As the hours pass, the intensity of the transformation fades, and Alex begins to regain control. She looks at me with eyes that are now both familiar and new, filled with gratitude and love. I nuzzle her once more, a deep sense of pride and love swelling within me.
When the time feels right, we shift back into our human forms, the basement now quiet and still. I wrap a blanket around Alex, holding her close as she shivers slightly from the aftermath of the transition.
“You did amazing, Alex,” I say softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead. “I’m so proud of you.”
She smiles weakly, her eyes shining with tears. “I could feel her! Sense her! My wolf. Even now… she’s inside of me!”
“Incredible, isn’t it?”
“Yes! Thank you, Jake. Thank you for being here with me.”
“Always,” I reply, holding her tight. “We’re in this together, remember?”
She nods, resting her head against my chest. “Yes, together. No matter what.”
Our bond is unbreakable, our love unwavering, and together, we’re unstoppable.
Elias might be out there yet, but we’ll find a way to stop him. For now, I’m only going to focus on my love, though, and enjoy our future.

Being a werewolf…letting her run free…
I don’t think I ever experienced anything so exhilarating before in my entire life.
Jake strokes my back, and I look up at him, at my mate, the man I love and will always love. How could I have lived without him? And for so long… He’s the only one who makes me feel complete. With him, I have found a new purpose.
I never wanted or needed a man to feel like my life was worthwhile. This is completely different. He doesn’t complete my life. He just elevates it.
“I can’t wait to let my wolf out again,” I say.
Jake chuckles. “Next you’ll want to go out on a hunt.”
I tilt my head to the side and peer up at him. “What do you mean?”
“I mean just what I said. A hunt.”
“For… animals.”
He nods. “To eat. We can sustain our bodies either as a human or as a wolf.”
That gets me to wondering about… other things… we can do as a wolf, and I feel my cheeks grow warm.
Jake just chuckles and rubs my back again. He doesn’t know what I was thinking, does he? But my wolf is in agreement. We love both Jake and his wolf, and maybe one day, once all of our troubles are behind us, Jake and I can make love in our wolf forms. I think our wolves would appreciate that.
But for now…
Our transformations left us naked, and I reach down between us.
“Alex…”
“Yes?” I don’t stop stroking him. He’s already incredibly hard.
He groans.
