I chew on my cheek, mulling over everything he’s said. In the end, I can’t argue against his reasoning. There’s no real rush while I’m sheltered within the walls of this manor, surrounded by the most powerful vampires.
Time I can give him.
I lean forward and place a kiss to his lips. “Okay. But we will revisit this once we have all the answers.”
He nods before lunging forward and bringing me to my back. He grabs the pillow between us, throwing it to the side.
“The moment’s over. I’m ready to get back to where we were.”
I smirk, remembering my plea for more of him a bit ago. “Think you can do better?”
He grins like a wolf. “Baby, I’m about to change your world.”
