“Don’t test me, woman.”
“Good because I am done with this old life, and I’m ready to start a new one with you.” No more putting what Lauren wants at the bottom of the list.
“Then hurry the fuck up because I can’t wait to start a new one with you too.”
Le Swoon.

I told Elle I was staying behind an extra week, but that was a lie. I wanted to spend that time with Jasper with no interruptions from anyone. Not that she will give me any since she’s moving straight in with Alistair when she returns, but I want us to be in our own little bubble for as long as we can.
I waved goodbye as she sailed off into the sunset with her man.
I left the next day on the first boat out from the island which was the staff boat. What Jasper doesn’t know is I’m on an earlier flight which brings me in an entire day earlier than he’s anticipating. I sure as hell hope he is home when I arrive. Otherwise, this surprise is going to be for nothing.
I’m exhausted by the time I make it to Jasper’s house. I rushed home after arriving at Heathrow—no one wants to have sex after traveling for twenty-four hours—I dumped my stuff, had a shower, packed a new bag, and caught a taxi to his house. Now I’m walking up to his front door, and the nerves kick in. This is it. We’ve been apart physically for over half the year. Yes, we have been having mind-blowing phone sex this past week, but who knows what it’s going to be like when we finally get together.
The lights are on in his home. I hope he’s alone, unlike last time I tried to surprise him. I knock on the door and wait. I hear footsteps walking toward the door, and then Jasper opens it. He’s dressed in gray sweats and a white T-shirt, no shoes on, his blond hair a disheveled mess.
“Lauren?” he gasps as his jaw falls open and he stares at me in surprise. “Why are you wearing a big red bow?” he asks, noticing my accessory.
“I’ve come to be unboxed.”
“Unboxed?” he repeats as a smile falls across his lips.
“I was hoping you could unbox my pussy.
“Oh really, is that so?” He chuckles, raising his brow at me.
“Yes, it very much is.”
“I fucking love you,” he curses as he reaches out and pulls me into his arms and kisses me.
“I fucking love you too.”
Jasper cups my face. “Welcome home, babe. Because I’m never letting you go, ever again.”
“Whatever you wish, my Lord.”
EPILOGUE
LAUREN
Eighteen months later
“I’m so fucking nervous,” Elle curses through the phone.
“Same here. I feel like I’m about to propose to him. My stomach is turning inside out.”
“Honey, I’m home,” Jasper calls out as he walks into our new home.
“Shit, that’s him. Got to go.”
“Good luck, text me.”
We both thought it would be a good idea to buy something together, something that was ours and rent out our other places. Look, Jasper said it would be a good investment, something about tax write-offs, and next thing I know I’m sucking his dick. Who knew talking business would make me wet? Apparently, it’s my new kink.
Eloise and my bakery has been the talk of the town since we opened. Things got dark there after she got back to London. She and Alistair attended his fuckface of a brother’s wedding, and that fucking asshole found every dark secret of Elle’s and produced it at the wedding to fuck over his brother. The guy is a certified psychopath—he needs professional help. Of course, I was right there by Elle’s side, and I stayed there for the next couple of weeks while I tried to bring her back from the brink again as Alistair’s brother brought up all her childhood trauma. Thankfully, Jasper understood and didn’t even hesitate when I told him I had to move back to my place to be with Eloise. He went and did the same with Alistair, both devastated by his brother’s psychotic ways.
