Once he was gone, Rebel turned to face her and smiled. “Any chance I could convince you to stay?”

Chapter seventeen

Rebel

RebelcuppedRuby’sfacein his hands and pressed his lips to hers for a soft kiss. “Please? I missed you last night.”

“You did?”

He gave her another soft kiss, lingering there for a little longer. “Yeah. I don’t like sleeping away from you.”

Sliding his hands back until his fingers were tangled in her blond locks, he felt his wolf give a low growl of approval at the look of bliss on her face as her eyelids lowered.

“Please?”

“I… I suppose I could.”

Rebel turned and started backing into the house, taking her with him, kissing her lips. When her hands landed on his chest under his cut and slid down to his abdomen, where they fisted in his Henley, he growled into her mouth and deepened the kiss.

Ruby broke the kiss and whispered against his lips, “Like that?”

Rebel reached behind her, shut the door, and locked it. “Fucking love that,” he answered, took her hand, and started pulling her toward his bedroom.

“We have stuff to talk about,” she reminded him.

Rebel stopped and looked at her. “Yeah, we do. Can it wait until the morning, though? We’ve had such a fucking fantastic night. I don’t want to bog it down with serious talk.”

“And sex isn’t serious?”

The smirk on her face had his cock twitching. “Yeah, but… it’s… that’s different.”

She giggled at his stammering. “I was kidding, Rebel. Yes, we can have our talk in the morning.”

“Good.” He started walking again, dragging her to his bedroom. He opened the door and pulled her inside before he shut and locked the door behind them.

When he heard her gasp, he looked to see what caused it.The pole in the front area of the room. He forgot that he installed that with everything that had happened that day. In order to fit it in his room, he had to move around his furniture and relocate his desk and bookshelf to the guest room.

Rebel had considered installing it in the guest room, but then, he thought about one of the twins walking in on her doing her exercises. The thought had his wolf enraged, so he figured that wasn’t a good idea and did what was necessary to install it in his bedroom.

“You… there’s a pole,” she said and pointed at it. Two seconds later, her arms folded over her chest, and she narrowed her eyes on him. “You aren’t expecting me to perform for you,are you?”

Rebel gave her a grin. “I mean… I wouldn’tstopyou, if you felt so inclined, but no… I don’t expect it. I installed it so you had a place to do your exercises while you were here… if you wanted to.”

“Well, that’s good,” she said, still giving him sass, but her face began to turn his favorite shade of red again. “But if anyone is giving anyone a show, it would be you giving me one.”

His wolf growled inside of him, and Rebel agreed. As his eyes flashed greenish-gold light, he removed his cut and hung it on the hook by his door. Then, he bent down and quickly removed his boots. As he crossed the room, headed for the pole, he yanked his Henley off.

“Wh-what are you doing?” He noticed how Ruby’s voice lifted an octave.

“Giving you a show,” he answered as he reached over and turned on the speaker system.

Bri

As Rebel walked away from her, Bri couldn’t believe what he was about to do. In a million years, she never would have expected an intellectual biker to bust out with a pole dancing routine, but yet, there he was. She realized how crazy that sounded, since she was a librarian and could do the same thing, but that wasn’t the point.

After getting a song going with a decent beat, he winked at her. He approached the pole, but as he passed it, he reached out with his right hand and grabbed it. Leaning to the left, he let his momentum swing him around the back of the pole and back around to the front. When he was facing her again, he kicked his right leg up in the air, swinging himself upside down, and wrapped it around the pole. Smiling at her, sending a shiver of desire down her spine, before he pointed his left leg and arm out in the air, away from his body and the pole.

Bri’s legs began to shake, feeling weak from watching him move with such grace and strength that she was forced to sit down or risk her legs giving out on her. Not taking her eyes off him, she reached back and felt around until the bed hit her hand. Then, she sat down on the edge of the bed. She was mesmerized by him as he moved with the beat, rolling his hips as he readjusted.
