Rebel shrugged. “We’re capable of getting off our asses and getting our own.”

“So are we,” Bri pointed out.

“Yeah, but you shouldn’t have to,” Rebel said with finality, nipping her jaw.

Bri turned her head and kissed his lips. “I’m figuring out that you Howlers take pride in spoiling the women in your lives.”

“As we should.”

“I think I want to do a full overhaul on the kitchen,” Sugar commented from her seat on the other side of the fire and looked over at her mate.

Siren shrugged and took another drink of his beer. “Okay. Whatever you want.”

Sugar’s gaze shifted over to Pixie. “That was easy.”

“Why wouldn’t it be?” Pike raised a brow. “When was the last time Siren denied you something you wanted? I would bet good money that he hasn’t since you mated.”

“Not one fucking thing,” Siren confirmed and reached over, wrapping his hand around Sugar’s thigh. “She wants to tear the house down and rebuild? Sure, babe, whatever you want. New car? You got it. Twelve kids? Get naked. We got work to do.”

Bri giggled as Sugar’s eyes almost bugged out of her head. “Twelve kids? Have you lost your damn mind?”

“Just blinded by love, Sugar,” Siren replied with a smile.

As Rebel quietly chuckled, Bri watched the two give each other a look that could rival the heat given off by the fire in the middle of their circle of friends.

After the twins got home, they were exhausted and went to bed. Rebel and Ruby walked their friends out and said their goodbyes. She was leaning up against the door jamb, watching Rebel give Sugar and Pixie hugs, when Ranger stepped outside and pulled her into a hug.

“Glad my brother found you, Ruby. You’re good for him. And thanks for the quotes.”

As he released her, she replied, “No problem. How did you get my number, anyway?”

Ranger shrugged. “Keys. Hope you don’t mind.”

“I don’t.”

“Meant what I said. You’re good for Rebel.”

Bri smiled at him. “He’s a good guy. You all are.”

Ranger winked at her.

“I noticed how they take care of their women like they are the most precious thing in their world. Is that a shifter thing?”

Ranger shrugged again. “Yeah, but it’s more a Howler thing. Our women are the most precious thing in our lives. Our sisters are cherished and our Ol’ Ladies are revered. Shifter or not, it’s how the Howlers operate. I’m sure Rebel’s the same way with you.”

As Bri felt her cheeks heat again, she nodded. “He seems to thrive on doing everything he can for me.”

“Well, get used to it. All the older Howlers I know are still doing those things for their Ol’ Ladies after decades.”

She raised a brow. “And you expect Rebel and I to still be together decades from now?”

Ranger looked at her like she had a flash of stupid. “Uh… yeah,” he said in a way that clearly stated he meant,Uh… duh.

“Why is my woman’s face red, Ranger?” Rebel approached them as Pixie’s car backed out of the driveway, and Siren roared away on his bike with Sugar curled around him.

Ranger chuckled. “Whenisn’ther face that color?”

Then, the two did a handshake, man hug thing, before Ranger jogged over to his bike and took off.
