Right now, my most powerful weapon was these guards. I would use them to make them tell Arkan that Samira had betrayed him. She was going to help me once more, whether she wanted to or not. I spotted her sitting ten tables away from me in the back area. I knew that she would attempt to kill me. I would make sure the bitch died before I did.
I put the plastic fork in my jumpsuit and walked over to her.
Sitting down in front of her, I smiled. “Samira, I'm glad to see you here. How long have you been in here?”
She lifted her head and smirked. “I'm going to kill you.”
Taking a sip of my milk, I smiled. “No, you're not. Together we can get out of here. All you must do is tell them about Arkan. I can back you up and we can get out of here. We don't have to die in prison like animals.”
Looking behind me, I caught the guards at my back talking amongst themselves. They were Arkan’s men.
I leaned forward. “We can go into their witness protection.”
She laughed. “Witness Protection. The thing that you stupid Americans rely on. Do you mean the program where we come and kill you mercilessly before you testify?”
Watch your temper, Samira. You’re playing right into my hand.
I shrugged. “So, you prefer to die in here, being somebody's bitch. The chance of escaping would be slim.”
Samira narrowed her eyes. “This is our fate but the sun shines today. I didn't see it but it did. You’re going to die by my hand tonight. I’m fine with dying in here if I take you down first.”
Sorry friend. You have a one seat ticket to hell not two. I have no doubt I’ll be down there burning with you, just not today.
Grabbing her hand, I squeezed hard. “You should turn on Arkan. The way he left you in here to die is horrible. Why are you so loyal to a man who tossed you out like a used tampon? Have you no pride?”
She jerked her hand away from me. “I’ll show you my pride when I carve your heart from your chest.”
Come on Anya. They need information. They don’t care about her trying to kill you. Make her talk.
“Your own father wants you dead. You may have escaped me earlier but you won't tonight. When I gave you that information on Arkan and Felix, you underestimated me.”
“My father might have sold me out because you betrayed them. Arkan sold you out for no reason. At least my father betrayed me, but the man who pretended to love you betrayed you. Which one of us is really the fool? It isn’t me.”
Her face turned red. She started to shake. “You thought them raping you was the worst thing that could ever happen, but I endured years of rape. Yet, you couldn’t stomach one damn night. Anya, you should be happy to die by my hand. It will be a quick knife stick in a few places, and you'll bleed out. It will hurt but only for a brief time.”
Iraised my eyebrows. “How do you know? Have you died before? You sound so stupid.”
“Don’t worry, I can’t revive you like your father does. If I could, I would torture you endlessly.
Yes. Confirm everything that I told the FBI. You are helping me you stupid bitch.
Her hatred for me made her tongue loose.
This is a blessing.
I jerked away from her. “Bullshit. Do you think I would trust what you're saying? My father loves me. This whole time you have been with Arkan’s, he never loved you. You only want me to be miserable because you can't accept the fact that he never loved you. I was reaching, but hey, she was the type of person who falls in love with the man who was killing her.
Her hand slammed down on the table.
Out of the corner of my eye, I watched as we attracted the attention of everyone in the room.
“Do you think the government can do anything to Arkan? He’s untouchable. The information you gave to the BIH did nothing but irritate him, which caused him to eat crepes instead of waffles.”
I smirked. “I’m glad you finally admitted that it was you who caused this situation to happen. I bet Arkan is balls deep in one of your friends right now. Do lay awake and let your roommate eat your dry, shriveled up cunt. Arkan has abandoned you?”
Spittle flew from her mouth. “You won't get your revenge. You won't even be a memory. You will be nothing just like the rest of us here.”
I shrugged. “You’re pathetic.”
