Stars light her eyes, “All the others?”

An arrogant smirk tilts. “You didn’t think this was the only baby I was fucking into you, did you?” Chuckling, I swipe the hair from her forehead. “Oh, Kitten, we’re having abigfamily.”

With the excitement flashing in her eyes, she likes the sound of a big family. “Everyone sounds like they’re up. I can hear them talking and laughing in the other room.” She snuggles into my chest, mumbling against my skin. “They probably heard us, too.” There her giggle goes again, filling my soul with love.

As soon as my lips touch her forehead, there’s a banging on the door. “Go away!” I holler, wanting her to myself today.

There’s laughter on the opposite side of the door, then a bunch of shushing. “Open the door or we’re breaking it down!” Liam warns, as Lennox laughs.

“Fine. Give me a sec.” Avery’s eyes trail me lazily, not making any effort to cover herself from prying eyes. “You’re going to want to get dressed, Kitten. They aren’t waiting out there much longer.”

Now it’s her turn to growl as she scoots to the edge. “I was going to have a nap.”

Swatting her ass, I laugh. “Too much morning activity, baby?”

She smiles coyly over her should after slipping one of my t-shirts on. “Never too much.” She promises, turning to me as she cradles her stomach, causing me to groan. I want to throw her down and fuck her all over again. “But naps are definitely a requirement.” She yawns again, before snagging a pair of boxers and pulling them on.

“Get your clothes on faster. Stop what you’re doing and answer the door.” Liam yells, and then yanks on the door handle, while Lennox cackles evilly.

Now that Avery’s completely dressed and I have pajama pants in place, I unlock the door. The twins don’t wait, instead, they barge in like they own the place. Avery’s tucked under my arm, but she’s quickly swept away, and whisked towards the kitchen.

“Hi.” She giggles, while they fuss over her, making her comfortable at the dining table.

“I’d ask how you’re doing, but from the sounds of it, you’re in tip-top shape.” Liam nudges her, taking the seat on her right, while Lennox sits to her left. He’s just as enamored as his twin.

“Good morning,” she calls politely to Kam and Cash, who are busying themselves in the kitchen with what smells like breakfast.

“Morning, A!” Cash waves, his golden locks feathering his brows.

“Good morning! Hope you’re up for breakfast.” Kam glances over, his most charming smile in place, before turning back and sliding hash browns from a pan.

Avery hums in hunger and licks her lips, practically salivating. “Jax’s told me about your cooking, but I’m excited to try it for myself.” She glances at me when I sit across the table from her.

“I’m happy to serve you and my niece or nephew you got growing in there.” He sets her plate down in front of her and watches as her eyes grow wide in wonder before a giant smile covers her face.

“Thank you.” Her voice sounds of disbelief looking at the portion sizes he’s divvied her.

He chuckles, rubbing her back. “You’re more than welcome.”

“Where’s mine?” Liam whines.

Kam’s expression transforms into a glare when he glances toward his youngest brother. “Avery’s the only one getting served. You lot are on your own.” His golden eyes soften again when he looks down on her. “Let me grab your juices.” He comes back a moment later, a small tray of four glasses.Four.One water, and the other three milk, apple juice, and orange juice. “Here you go, baby girl.”

Her breath hitches when Kam uses her adopted nickname—the one her dad used around us frequently in her absence. A watery smile spreads when her gaze latches onto his, showing gratitude through the simple gesture. “Thank you, Kam.” She glances at the rest of my brothers, knowing that they’re trying not to mention her ordeal. “Thank you, to all of you. My dad—” her voice cuts out until she clears her throat to continue. “For you all to drop your lives and come here for Jax, and bring my dad under your wing, there’s nothing I can do or say to show you how much that means to me. All I can say is, thank you, and I love you guys.” Her tiny shoulders shake from her sobs.

I’m thankful they’ve taken to her so well. The complete opposite of how they reacted to Sarah being in my life. Huffing, I stand to comfort her, but Liam and Lennox are already turned towards her. They mirror each other as they cage her between them—touching her stomach, holding her hand, and encouraging her to drink some orange juice. Once they convince her to take a sip, it’s like they won the lottery, causing their eyes to twinkle with pride. Before you know it, they’ve convinced her to tuck into the rest of her food, offering her seasonings and sauces.

By the time breakfast is over, Avery’s practically falling out of her chair with exhaustion, and Cash chases the twins away. “All right, you two, let her breath.”

Chuckling, I sneak in behind him and swoop her into my arms. She squeals in surprise and swats my chest. “Jax! You almost made me pee!”

The room erupts in laughter, encouraging her to piss on me, to teach me a lesson. “You need a nap.”

She opens her mouth to argue, but then thinks twice, and settles in. “You’re right. A nap sounds terrific. You get bonus points for being perceptive.” Her giggle mixes with a yawn.

Once she’s comfortably situation in bed, I slip my shirt over my head, and slide in next to her. The stars are back in her eyes as she tracks every movement. “You see something you like, Kitten?” Teasing her is one of my favorite parts of the day.

Her cheeks pinken cutely when she smiles playfully. Her hand is cool as it trails up my warm chest before stopping over my heart. “You’re cut from my dreams.” She whispers. “Did you mean what you said—you want to marry me?”
