She loved every minute of it. Working with kids was her calling, and she couldn't wait until she could start taking her classes. It would be a long couple of years to get her degree, but that was okay. She already had a bachelor's, so the number of courses she needed to take wasn't that much.

She was in the middle of cleaning up one of the activity centers when Camron's voice filled the room, followed by a loud crack as he slapped her ass. "It's my lucky day. Remind me to bend you over later, baby girl. I love looking at your ass!"

One thing Shantae quickly learned was that once Camron opened up, he was flirtatious and playful. If they were in the same room, he was touching her in some way.

He was also insatiable. Shantae had never felt so desired or treasured.

"Shh." She stood up and playfully swatted his chest. "The kids could come back and hear you. I doubt your teammates would be okay with their children learning about what happens between adults."

Camron simply responded by throwing his head back and letting out a belly laugh.

"If you think my teammates aren't the same way with their wives, then you're not paying attention."

Shantae thought about the interactions she's seen between the other couples. All of Camron's teammates were affectionate. They didn't hold back or shy away from the love they felt. It was inspiring and exactly what she wanted with Camron.

"You're right." She smiled back. "So, what brings you over this way?"

"You mean a hundred feet from the situation room." He smirked. "Oh yeah, it's so far away."

She attempted to swat his chest again, but he grabbed her hand and pulled her in so she was wrapping her arms around him. "Okay, smart-ass," she chuckled. "So, why are you visiting?"

"Can't I just want to see your smiling face?"

"You absolutely can."

She couldn't remember a time in her life when she had ever been this happy. Or smiled so much. Or hell, even laughed. Camron brought that out in her and she never wanted it to stop.

"But in all honesty, I missed you. I got used to it just being the two of us."

He nuzzled her neck, eliciting her to laugh even more. Her stomach was getting a workout.

"I missed you too, even if you just saw me this morning when we drove into work together."

"Are you saying I'm too clingy?" he asked with mock indignation.

"I wouldnever."

He could be as clingy as he wanted. She would never get sick of him. Not after thinking there would be no chance of him seeing her this way.

"Because you know, I waited sixteen years just to get my first glimpse of you, and then it took me several days to get my head out of my ass. That's a lot of time to make up for, and I don't plan on wasting a second of it."

Hook. Line. And sinker.

She was done for when he said things like that. Too many times over the past few years, she had imagined what it would be like if they met and she expressed how she felt for him. The real thing was a million times better.

"You keep saying things like that and you're going to have me falling in love with you."

She waited for the other shoe to drop. For the happy bubble they were in to burst at just the mention of the L word. She was only half kidding. The truth was, she was already in love with him.

"That's the plan, baby girl." He gave her a wink.

Her heart stopped. She wanted to ask what he meant by that and nearly let out a frustrated groan when Wes interrupted them.

"I knew I'd find you here. Ray has some information for the two of you, so do you think you can keep your hands off each other long enough to listen to what he has to say?"

Shantae tried to take a large step away from Camron, but he held firm. Wes didn't seem like the type of man who tolerated much, and she had no intention of pissing him off.

"Camron, let me go." She gave him a slight push.
