Elizabeth fucking Blackhawk.

Sending a coded message, she waited for the reply, knowing he’d comply, but this was likely it.

‘I can’t get you much on her. Axelle is loyal. I’m sorry. Really.’

Oh, well, Bob was in for some heartbreak. Someone was getting a divorce and having his professional life torn to shreds.

She rattled off her reply.

‘I hope your wife doesn’t get a packet of you being bent over and fucked, Director. It’s in your best interest to get me everything on Elizabeth and her family.’

She sent it, and waited.

Oh, and that did what she wanted.

‘I will see what I can find, but this is it. There will be no more. I’m out of options. I will take you down with me.’

Yeah, she suspected as much.

Bob was a useful pawn, and he was going to make sure she had plenty of intel before she tossed him aside.

Once she was under, and back in Germany, she’d let him burn. You know…tie up loose ends.

Intel was intel, and CIA information was the best.

That’s how she got in contact with the Russian. She’d simply reached out, contacted him, and offered up the Marines who killed his family.

That was the easiest money.

Besides, this was about cleaning up any loose ends, and she still had that one mercenary getting her the Savages.

Mikey O’ and his wife wouldn’t see that one coming.

Now, if she could only figure out where Remmy was, and if her people dropped the ball.

Oh, and she would.

Artemis proved that she was the best goddamn CIA spook to ever play double agent in the history of that agency.

And she was going to retire.

A legend.

It was officially the longest day of all of their lives. Just that morning, it seemed to be another uneventful day of trying to stop the Russians from coming.

Now, they’d learned a lot.

The Russians were coming.

They had Alexsandr’s face.
