“That would be awesome,” I gush. I rub my cheek. “Although, I think this vampire thing has taken care of the pimple I had.”

Bash is looking at us in shock. “You are talking about lotions?”

Penny and I look at each other and then back to Bash. “Yeah,” we say at the same time.

“Alright,” he says slowly. “Are you in control now?”

“Yes, thanks,” I say. He’s distracting me; I want his hands on me. “Sorry again, Penny. I heard a woman talking to him and went a little nutty.”

“I get it. Protect your mate and all that,” she says, smiling.

“Jesus,” Bash mutters. “Do you both want coffee?”

“Sure,” Penny responds.

“I do. Will it taste the same?” I wonder out loud.

Bash chuckles as he goes to the kitchen. “Better.”

“Coffee can taste better?” I ask in shock as we follow.

“I agree. Coffee is already the nectar of the Gods,” Penny says.

“It is possible.” Bash pours us both a cup and sets down creamer and sugar. He watches me intently as I take my first sip.

I moan. “I think I just orgasmed.”

“Fuck,” Bash whispers.

“Maybe I need to become a vampire. I haven’t had a good one in years. Harmony promised to find me a man to blow on my clit, but she had to go and get pregnant. She’s falling down on the job,” Penny pouts.

“That sucks,” I say sympathetically.

“I know.” She rolls her eyes. “It’s just not fair. She gets three mates, and I can’t find a human that knows where my G-spot is.”

“You should be a vampire. I bet you would be a badass. Of course, I don’t have much experience yet, but there are cool things you can do,” I encourage.

“Does Bash know where your clit is?” she asks seriously.

“Definitely.” I give her wide eyes. Bash coughs.

“Maybe the supernatural should give classes or something.” She takes a drink of her coffee.

“Bash, do you have any friends that we could set her up with?” I ask.

“No,” he says firmly.

“There has to be someone,” I persist.

“You’ve met all the people I would call friends.”

“Anyone would be lucky to get Penny. Just look at her.”

“No,” he says, glaring.

“Smart man,” Penny says.

“Didn’t you have something you wanted to give Marie?” Bash asks her.
