“Instead, you got another woman off right there, in the middle of a crowded bar,” Silver said with a smile, running a hand into Honor’s messy morning hair.

“What have you done to me?” Honor joked.

“No idea. But what have you done to me? I’m literally brushing hair out of a pretty girl’s face, and I’ve spent every night this week at her place, even though we haven’t had sex every one of those nights.”

Honor leaned over and kissed her.

“How are you doing with that?”

“I like it,” Silver replied. “I like it a lot, actually.” She kissed Honor again. “Hey, what we did last night wasn’t exactly group sex, but would you ever be up for that? I know we talked about it a little, but my friends are asking about it, and I thought I’d mention it.”

“Sex with your friends? They’re asking about you being with them?”

“No,” Silver said with a smirk. “They want us both to be with them.”

“Oh.”

“You can always say no to anything. And if it’s something we never do, that’s fine. If it’s something you want to work your way up to, that’s fine, too.”

“Can I maybe think about it and get back to you? I don’t know. The woman from last night was different; she was a stranger. These are women you hang out with, and I’ve been hanging out with them since you and I started dating.”

Silver kissed her forehead and said, “Yes. No pressure. I did want to ask you about repeats, though.”

“Repeats?”

“Yes. So, you know I’ve been with my friends repeatedly, and I will again. But what about some random person, like Stephanie or the woman from last night?”

“If you want to be with someone more than once?”

“Or, if you do,” Silver suggested. “What do you think?”

“I think as long as it doesn’t turn into what we have, it’s fine.”

“Yeah?”

“Yeah. Why? You thought I’d have a problem with it?”

“I’m more surprised with how directly you answered the question.” Silver smiled at her. “Like, you know how you feel about it definitively.”

“I know how I feel about you definitively, Silver. I want to be the only one you wake up to like this.”

Silver kissed her forehead and said, “Same. Hey, do you want to shower together before work? No funny business; just me lingering in a few spots while I clean you.”

Honor laughed and replied, “Yes, we can shower together. And you need to just keep stuff here now. You’re packing and repacking that bag all the time.” Honor pointed to the duffel bag Silver had on the floor by the bed. “I almost tripped over it yesterday.”

“So, you want me to keep stuff here because you’re clumsy?”

Honor climbed out of bed and said, “Yes, that’s the only reason.”

“I like it when you’re all sassy,” Silver teased and reached for Honor’s hands, pulling her back down on top of herself. “Do you really want me to keep stuff here?”

“Yes,” Honor said. “It’s practical.”

“But if it were the opposite of practical, would you still want it?”

“I know you know the word impractical, master’s degree.” Honor kissed her quickly as Silver wrapped her arms around Honor to hold her in place.

“Would you, Honor? Would you still want that?”
