“Well, we meet again,” Lara said.

“We do,” Honor replied. “Are you alone?”

“Blind date stood me up,” Lara explained. “Stupid app.”

“Do you want company?”

“Drink or something else?”

“Something else,” Honor stated definitively.

“Here or the bathroom?” Lara asked with a lifted eyebrow, and Honor could tell that Lara was spreading her legs.

“I can’t here. People I work with are at the bar,” Honor told her.

Lara instinctively looked that way before she looked back at Honor.

“Same rule? No strings?”

“No strings. Are you–”

“I haven’t been with anyone since you. I don’t generally go around doing this, Honor. You?”

“Just you and my girlfriend. But we’re both good.”

Lara raised her hand to the waiter to bring her check and said, “My place is about fifteen minutes away from here, and this is my first drink.”

“You want to finish it before we go?”

Lara shook her head. Then, she remained behind to pay the check while Honor walked out first, wanting to put some space between them now that everyone at the office knew she had a girlfriend and some of them had seen Silver, so they would know it wasn’t Lara. Once outside, Lara led the way to her car, and Honor climbed inside.

“I want to go down on you this time. Can I?”

Honor took Lara’s hand and placed it over her center.

“Yes,” she said.

Lara undid the button with one hand before she moved to the zipper while she pressed the car-starting button with her other hand. Then, she slid her hand into Honor’s pants and underwear while she pulled them into traffic.

“What’s got you ready to go?” Lara rubbed between her folds.

“My girlfriend has been out of town.”

“Ah. And you miss her?”

“Yes.”

“Does she know you do this with me?”

“She likes that I do. She does it, too. Harder,” she instructed.

“Not too hard, Honor. I don’t want you to be sore when I make you come with my mouth.”

“I won’t be,” Honor promised and pressed her own hand down into Lara’s.

“God, you really want this.”

“Yes,” Honor replied.
