“So, my sister has a best friend who’s a wedding-planner, if you’re interested in that. She’s relatively new at it, working her way up and all that, but she’s trying to get clients now. I bet she’d be gentle on the price,” Honor suggested.

Silver was surprised that Honor would even want a friend of her sister’s to meet Silver’s friends, knowing that these two generally had no filters, and while they were planning their wedding, they could just as easily be talking about cake tasting or the last threesome that they had with Silver months ago now. Silver not being a common name would mean that the friend could tell Temperance, leading Temperance to think that Silver had cheated, and it would be a whole thing. She still hadn’t met Temperance officially, but she knew it would happen soon. Honor had been so busy meeting with Victor Andrews over and over again, now that he wanted to be very involved in how his money was distributed, and their nights were usually spent together or with someone else before they got together after that.

Silver herself had been working on the next show, which, after stone and water, would be something having to do with air. And the last big show of the year would actually be the start of the next season instead. It would be fire, and it would be the show that brought her and Honor together in the first place. Silver would up the ante by making the whole event fire-themed, which she felt was appropriate, given that sex was the art they’d be displaying.

“I’m thinking we won’t start planning anything for a while, but I’ll let you know when we do,” Brandi replied to Honor. “I think we want a long engagement.”

“We kind of like to be in the moment, you know?” Devin added. “Like, when we first met and started dating, we just dated. We enjoyed going out with each other but dated other people, too, even though we knew this was it for us. It kind of gave us something to compare us to, and we liked us, so we turned exclusive. Now, we’ve been doing that for years and enjoying every minute of it; even when she pisses me off.” Devin chuckled. “So, we’ll probably just live in this engagement period for at least a couple of years, enjoying this phase before we plan and get married.”

“I like that,” Honor said. “Should we have dated other people before we got together? I only dated guys.”

“Um… You had that date with Christina,” Silver reminded through gritted teeth.

Honor laughed and replied, “I forgot all about that.”

“She didn’t,” Silver noted. “She tried to get you to go out again for months.”

“Did I tell you that Kathleen is her sister-in-law? I don’t remember if I did.”

“What?” Silver laughed. “She’s her sister-in-law? I was going down on you under that desk while she was trying to hook you up with her sister-in-law?”

“Hold on. You went down on Honor while she was at work?” Brandi asked.

“Yeah. She wanted it, and I like to give my girl what she wants. She returned the favor,” Silver said with a smirk.

“Wait. This Kathleen woman literally walked in on Silver with her head between your legs?” Brandi asked Honor.

“Yes, she did,” Honor confirmed.

“Did you stop?” Devin asked Silver.

“Nope.” Silver shook her head. “Honor wanted it.”

“I sort of made her stay there.” Honor’s cheeks had a nice blush on them. “The whole time Kathleen was in the room, Silver was sucking and licking me into oblivion.”

Silver squeezed her thighs together as she kept her eyes on Honor’s.

“It was one of the best orgasms she’s ever given me,” Honor added.

“Fuck. Is Kathleen your boss, too? That would make it even hotter.”

Brandi’s hand ended up on Honor’s thigh, and Silver worried because this wasn’t why they’d come over for dinner tonight. The plan had been to have a meal together and catch up since they’d all been so busy. Brandi only got one night off a week when she was in season, so they’d agreed to come over here and hangout. Silver had texted Devin and Brandi, though, that tonight wouldn’t be about sex, since the last time Silver had asked her, Honor hadn’t been sure that she’d be up for this anytime soon. Which is why now, Silver waited for Honor to shift her body away from the touch or to politely remove Brandi’s hand from her thigh.

“She’s not. We’re peers, sort of, but it’s a non-profit; it’s not like a corporate environment. She just works in one department, and I work in another.”

“But you have an office?” Devin asked.

“Yeah. I’m on the phone with big donors a lot, and sometimes, they come into the office, so I need a private space to meet with them.”

“Does this Kathleen have an office?” Devin asked, turning more toward Honor.

“No, she’s on the floor with almost everyone else. There are only three offices.”

“And you have one? Hot.” Brandi shifted over closer.

Silver almost said something to her before she realized that Honor hadn’t removed Brandi’s hand. She also hadn’t looked at Silver in concern or nerves yet, which would be her indication that she was uncomfortable, so Silver just sat there in the chair, leaning back and watching.

“And she wanted you to date her sister-in-law?” Devin asked, placing her arm around the back of the sofa.
