"Let's get him outside. The drinks hit him hard." Roar threw his arm around Peer's shoulders. "Feeling better?"
Was he...?
He looked at his president. "I need to pack."
"That'll wait until tomorrow."
Ja. He could do everything tomorrow.
He found himself outside. There was no hurry. Tomorrow was the day.
"You said Coco's coming?" he asked.
Roar pointed. He followed his finger. That was Coco's car.
"I'm not going to leave her here." He patted his chest. "I'll take her, too. She's my family."
"Ja." Roar lead him forward. "Let's get you in the car. I'll have Dag and Elling help you when you get home."
The most beautiful woman in the world walked toward him. He smiled and held out his arms.
"Come here, Collette Lewis." He embraced her, holding her close. "Where's my son? We need to pack."
"He's in the car." Coco frowned, cupping his face. "What's wrong with you?"
"Nei. Don't look at me like that. I'm going to take care of everything. I'll get us away from this...this..." He looked at Roar, knowing everything that transpired needed to be kept between Slag members. "Tomorrow."
"Tomorrow." Roar slapped him on the back. "Now, let's get you in the car."
"Right. Tyr's in the car. My son." He kept his arms around Coco, making sure she came, too. "We're leaving."
The passenger seat was far down. He plopped, hitting his knees against the dashboard of the car.
It was a long ride home.
