“You sure you want to go with my idea? It's not the safest route to take. We did it as kids and almost got ourselves mutilated,” I chuckle, thinking about the times I used to run around with the lowlifes of my high school. It wasn't my best decision, but they treated me like I was family and belonged. They looked out for me, or I thought they did. Until things turned to shit, and they needed a scapegoat. They were busted joyriding and tried to say I was the one who stole the car, sold it to them, and said it was legal. Too bad they were too stupid to realize that witnesses put them at the scene when they jacked it, and my dad had taken me to my aunts to get me away from the bad crowd. But that's the past; luckily, I did nothing too bad, so nothing came back to me. I spent my senior year trying to make up for all the trouble I caused my parents.

“Ohhh… dangerous. That sounds like the perfect plan. Tell us!” Halle cackles while rubbing her hands together.

“Two words. Molotov cocktails.”

Chapter Eleven

Grim

“Jade finally feeling better?” Swift asks, taking a pull from the beer in his hand.

“Yeah, she’s perfect,” I say, smiling at the hall the women just walked down.

“Didn't take long,” Loki smirks at me.

“For what?” I ask, raising a brow at him.

“For you to fall straight on your ass, too. To drool after her like a sick puppy,” he chuckles.

“Who wouldn't with an ass like that?” I smirk back.

“You ain't kidding, man, that woman had the nicest fucking….” Grease starts, but my growl cuts him off. He rolls his eyes and throws his hands in the air. “Damn, I was trying to compliment her! You all are so touchy.”

“Oh, big talk for a man pining after someone else’s woman. Let's start talking about the tits on…” Hitter says, laughing as Grease's face shuts down, and he slams his fist on the table.

“Point made,” he says through gritted teeth.

“If we’re done with the bullshit, I have something I need to discuss with you all. We can handle the details in church if need be, but this is more of a heads up,” I tell the group, looking at their faces so they know I'm serious. My gaze lands on my Prez, and he gives me a chin lift to continue.

“Robby Mullins,” I say simply.

“Who the fuck is Robby Mullins?” Loki asks, pulling out his blade and scratching the top of his head with the tip. I swear, if he’s sitting for more than five minutes, he has to fiddle with his damn blades.

“Robby Mullins is the fucker who blackmailed my woman into a date. A date where he was a complete ass, called her fat, took her to a deserted road, tried to rape her, and made her run through the woods and on the side of the road the night I found her,” I say, trying to keep my cool.

“Mother fucker,” a chorus goes around the table.

“I finally got the full story from Jade. Needless to say, I’ve been ready to commit murder but, unfortunately, been busy.” I haven't forgotten about the fucker, but I have kept tabs on him to ensure he’s nowhere near my girl. She told me her mom had banned him from entering the shop and threatened to call the cops, but I know that won't stop a piece of shit like Robby for long.

“What is your plan?” Hitter asks.

“Right now, I just want to have a little chat with Robby-boy. Make sure he knows his ass better stay away from my woman. I also want to ensure he never touches a woman without her permission again,” I say, thinking of all the ways I want to make that possible.

“I don't think we need church for that. How about you take Loki and Hitter for a visit?” Swift suggests, smiling. “I’m assuming Comp already has his address?”

“As well as everything little Robby has tried to keep secret,” Comp says with disgust.

“Hey! Why don't I get to have a little fun?” Grease complains.

“Because you promised the kids you would have their dirt bikes up and running today. I think one of them is still bogging,” Loki tells him.

“Shit. I meant to fix that one last night. Should be an easy fix, but I’ll stay and get that taken care of.” Grease nods.

“Now, Comp, tell us what we need to know,” Swift says, crossing his arms.

“This isn't the first accusation he has on file. There was another girl that worked with him at the bank. She reported him but left town soon after. She transferred to a different bank almost halfway across the country,” Comp says, shaking his head.

“Okay, you all go pay our friend a visit. Make sure he knows we are watching him and if he steps a toe out of line. He’s done,” Swift says before tapping his hand on the table.
