“Very.”

“Alex, you don’t have to prove anything to me,” he says, but there’s heat swirling in his low tone and his breathing is a little faster.

I give him another small smile. “Oh, I know,” I lie. I do have something to prove. To myself mainly, but a little to him. “But I want you, and we’re still a half hour from home, and I don’t want to wait that long to feel you inside me.” I reach up on my tiptoes so I can capture his mouth with mine, but then I remember I just threw up, and so I nuzzle his neck instead, inhaling the masculine scent of him deep into my lungs. When I begin to unbuckle his belt, he slides his hands up into my hair and forces my head back.

“I will fuck you here, Alex. I have no issues doing that,” he breathes.

I slip my hand inside and trace the tip of his arousal with my thumb. “Mm-hmm, is that a threat or a promise?” I whisper against the heat of his throat.

He growls softly in response, and then he’s pulling me forcibly away from the car and further into the dark.

The gravel is rough beneath my feet and the only light is the moon above, but he doesn’t pull me very far, pushing me toward a large tree to the right-hand side of the gate. He pushes me gently against it, and then he’s reaching under my dress to yank down my underwear. I feel his fingers push inside me an instant later, and I gasp, dropping my head back onto the rough bark. He sucks and kisses and licks at my throat.

“It’ll be quick and hard,” he says against my ear.

“Thanks for the warning,” I laugh breathlessly.

He pulls back to give me a smirk—one I can see even in the dark—then drops his head back down to my neck as he works on freeing himself from his jeans. I’m almost vibrating with need, breathless and desperate. I’ve never felt anything like the need I feel when we’re like this. When we’re almost inside each other. The want is suffocating. Sometimes it feels as though my body aches whenever he isn’t inside it, throbbing with a specific kind of loss that only subsides when it has him. I watch as he brings his hand up to drag his tongue over it, wetting it, but then it’s gone and he’s stroking himself with it. It’s incredibly hot. Pressing his upper body into mine, he lifts one of my legs and holds it there before pushing into me with a single upward thrust. I let out a gasp of shock as the size of him stretches me open, his cock throbbing inside.

“Is this what you wanted, baby?” he asks after a moment, panting hard against my ear. “Me to fuck you out here where anyone could see you.”

My legs weaken. “Yes. Christ, yes.”

He moans from the back of his throat and pulls out slow then thrusts back in hard. When I let out a high-pitched noise, he covers my mouth and starts to fuck me properly—deep, fast fucks of his hips that feel deeper each time.

“You’re always so fucking tight,” he grunts, licking up the column of my neck.

I’m grabbing at him, desperate for more, though I’m not sure how much more there is. I want him to climb all the way up inside me. He’s still holding me up by one leg, and my other feels weak, my balance unsteady, but I know he won’t let me fall. With my body tightly held against his, his scent fills my nose as his cock fills my body, and I drop my head into his chest and focus on each perfect hard thrust of his body into mine. I’m not sure I can come like this, but Christ, it feels good. Dangerous and exciting.

“I love you,” I tell him as I press kisses to the side of his neck, his throat, his collarbone. “I love you so much…”

He makes a softer, more tender noise then, and I feel him tip over the edge. A few desperate thrusts followed by stillness, then the staccato movement of his hips. He comes hard, cursing against my throat. When he kisses me I don’t pull away, forgetting completely that I likely taste of vomit.

When his body stills, Jake withdraws, lowering my leg and stepping back from me.

“Mmm, well, that was exciting,” I smile as I shimmy my panties back up my legs.

He smirks, scraping his teeth sexily over his lower lip. “Yeah, it was. You didn’t come though. I’ll have to make up for that when we get home.” He steps forward and wraps his arms around me, pressing his mouth to my forehead.

“Well, I absolutely would not complain about that.”

“So understanding,” he says as we walk back to the car, his hand on the back of my neck.

“I’m the perfect girlfriend, really.”

“A little boring though.”

I turn to give him a look, and he grins boyishly.

“Too soon?”

He gets in the passenger side as I walk around to the driver’s door. I can feel him watching me as I pull on my seat belt and start the engine, and when I turn to look at him his face has a look of mild wonderment.

“What?” I give him a playful frown.

He shrugs. “I was just thinking about how you’re different from how I imagined you’d be, that’s all. You know when I first saw you.”

I have to bite back my smile. It’s what I said to him the night of our date. “Oh, really? How’s that?”
